The most important question of all when considering choosing your secret singers. We understand that most Brides, Grooms, and events work to a budget, so we’re here to provide the best quality possible with our undercover singers, all whilst making things affordable for you. So let’s break things down and show you what is included within our prices.

What our fee covers

Whilst our singing waiter performances are 30 minutes long (which works out as 8 songs including the encore) we provide so much more, and what people don’t realise is it’s usually a 12 hour day for us. Our fees go towards the following.

  • Equipment. All of our prices include full state of the art PA system (suitable for up to 200 guests) and microphones for our singers to use, so you won’t need to provide anything for us.
  • Insurance. All of our equipment is insured and fully PAT tested. We also provide public liability insurance.
  • Venue liaison. We handle absolutely everything to do with your venue/catering team so that you don’t have to. This includes running through timings together, checking uniform, and sending over insurance certificates.
  • Uniforms. We provide standard black/white shirts, and black/white t shirts to blend in with your venue, as well as black trousers/skirts and blue jeans. These are the most popular forms of uniform.
  • Travel expenses. Our fees include our travel to and from the venue. We only ask that if your venue doesn’t provide parking, that this is organised/reimbursed for us. The same goes for any congestion/low emission charges if the show is London/Birmingham based.
  • Rehearsal times. We spend a lot of time rehearsing all of our material to make sure we sound as good as we possibly can for your big day.
  • Time spent acting as waiters. The actual show day is a long one for us! We will arrive 2 hours before your guests are due, so we can set up and sound check unnoticed. We will then start helping with basic duties throughout your meal/Wedding breakfast to blend in with the rest of the wait staff. The performance then usually takes place during dessert, which is an estimated 2 hours of being undercover waiters.
  • An 8 song show – enough said!

How we charge

We don’t believe that there is a one size fits all pricing structure. Many different factors come into play when sending out our quotes, but one thing you can guarantee is that there will be no hidden charges from us. We believe in transparency, so all of our quotes are tailored to your specific requirements. The main difference with our quotes will be location and travel. We will always assign the singers closest to your event to keep costs down for you. However, sometimes we may be travelling 3+ hours in one direction, and therefore the quote will reflect the distance needed to travel.

Another factor that will alter the price would be the number of singers required. The more singers hired, the more we would need to charge to accommodate the extra performers. We find that 2 performers is our most popular surprise lineup for small to mid sized events, although we will always recommend 1 singer per 50 guests to achieve our usual response.

We pride ourselves on providing the best singing waiters out there, whilst also being on the more affordable side of companies. With Undercover Artists you will be getting trained, professional singers, who have all performed in either the West End, in UK Number 1 tours, or onboard cruise ships. This enables to be able to sing pretty much anything!

How to pay

To confirm your booking we have a contract in place, along with a 25% non refundable deposit. Our deposits are paid via BACS or PayPal if you’d prefer. We will never ask you to pay the full balance upfront, and would advise that you don’t pay anything before seeing, and agreeing to a contract. Our contracts are designed to protect both yourself, and our singers moving forwards. The final balance isn’t due until 4 weeks before your event, after we have had our planning call to discuss all the finer details. You can decide if you’d prefer to settle the final amount via BACS, cash on the day, or instalments of your choice.

As with most things, we believe you get what you pay for. So whilst we are by no means the cheapest of surprise singers out there, we are certainly not the most expensive. What we can guarantee though, is that we will bring fun, energy, and an unforgettable performance to your big day, all with incredible vocals.
